University Magic Course will stop acute shortage of magicians: Dr A Jayakrishnan

Thiruvananthapuram: The vice Chancellor Kerala University Dr A Jayakrishnan stated here the role of new magic courses with Kerala University and Magic Academy will furnish the vacant slots of magic in the entertainment sector in Kerala. Magicians’ requirement is being increased in both entertainment- tourism and mass communication sectors and thus the magic course with university recognized will repute the artists with dignity, according to Dr A Jayakrishnan. He was inaugurating the first certificate distribution ceremony jointly organized by Magic Academy and CACEE, University of Kerala.
The director of CACEE Dr A R Supriya presided over the function and she has assured them to for finding employment opportunities in the future. The magic learning will certainly influence the society for messaging rather than entertaining and therefore magic is more over an edutainment tool. 
Gopinath Muthukad, who blessed the occasion of passing out programme of first batch students, said that the world class magicians wonder on our magic course with university recognition. The magicians of Las Vegas, the world capital of magic were unsure on this odd achievement of Kerala.
University of Kerala Vice Chancellor Dr A Jayakrishnan honoured the students of Certificate in Magical Arts, the CMA with University certificates and magic wands. The new born magicians Sreekumar S, Juju Punnamoodu, Govind P Dev and Shajahan were there on the stage to acknowledge the repute and perform after the meeting. Academy’s foreign ambassador K P Sivakumar welcomed and Director Chandrasenan Mithirmala expressed vote of thanks in the function.
