Pattabhiram receives CM's honour

Honouring an experienced magician: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, K. Rosaiah honours magician B.V. Pattabhiram on the latter's 60th birthday at a function in Hyderabad. Jayaseshu, wife of the magician is also seen on right.

Hyderabad: On his 60th birthday, hypnotist-magician and personality development trainer, B.V. Pattabhiram was felicitated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, K. Rosaiah on the 12th of February in Hyderabad. The Hindu reports that 'the CM had people in splits on the occasion. He said he was often surprised how some people could create magic and hypnotise people and wondered if he too could wave a magic wand to pull the State out of the current financial crunch. The CM also honoured Jayaseshu, wife of Mr. Pattabhiram and four other luminaries who had inspired the magician. "To improve the mental abilities of students and youth and make them look at life differently was a bit of training" Mr. Pattabhiram said during his reply speech. Speakers on the occasion included Jnanpeeth awardee C. Narayana Reddy and Justice G. Bhavani Prasad of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
