Vakkom Khader re-born through Magic

Thiruvananthapuram: A magical introduction was needed to recollect the story of Vakkom Abdul Khader, and it is through none other than the prominent political personality and opposition leader of Kerala Legislative Assembly V S Achuthananthan.

Though there were some initiatives to bring up Vakkom Khader to the new generation society, it finally took the fascinating medium of magic to spell bound the audience and to make the impact reaches the minds of hundreds.

In memory of Vakkom Khader who was hung at the age of 26 by the British Government, Magician Haris Thaha brought out his magical sketch in an empty frame while the former chief minister V S Achuthananthan tapped it with a magic wand. The programme was organized at Thiruvananthapuram St Joseph High School and was witnessed by hundreds of school students. School Headmaster Sebastian and Principal P J Varghese were also present on the stage.
