Monthly PPC now in Kochi

Abhinraj to hold inaugural PPC in Kochi on 14th March

Kochi: As the much-demanded monthly Perfect Performer Course (PPC) crosses the mark of 75 on 13th March, the Magic Academy is offering a gift to magicians of north and central Kerala. Now the PPCs will have its turn at the Extension Centre of the Academy in Kochi on every second Sunday. Inaugural session of Kochi chapter of the event will be conducted by young, talented magician, Abhinraj on 14th of March.

This 20-year-old magician’s first introduction to the world of magic was as a budding participant for a three-day Christmas Magic Carnival held at the Magic Academy in 2001. In a short span of 8 years he was grown to the level of a faculty at the Academy. Once, while watching his performance, his master, Gopinath Muthukad was thoroughly thrilled that he took own magic hat and placed it on the boy’s head. For the magicians of Kochi, Mr. Abhinraj is bringing a bag full of exciting Close-up tricks. So never miss this chance. Registration fee is Rs.150 and the venue is the Academy’s extension centre, Panampilly Nagar. Mob. 9446586853.

Way to imaginative magic

The Magic Academy's monthly master classes for magicians crosses the mark of 75.

Thiruvananthapuram: Preeth doesn’t do magic, he only performs magic. Does performing and doing make any difference? To this question, 27-year-old magician P. Preeth has the answer in writing: performing is creative, doing is mechanical. Or if you need a practical explanation, come and attend the 75th Perfect Performer Course to be led by him at the Magic Academy on 13th of March. But come ready to acquire the hitherto unexplored and thoroughly incredible powers of ropes, cards, coins and paper.
With the might of the creative mind, this young magician has thwarted challenges of life including a congenital problem with speech and hearing.

His ability in presenting the usual magic tricks with unusual frills of fantasy, is tremendous. This was predominant throughout ‘Super Talent Show’ a reality show aired a few months back by the Amrita TV. In this show, his success trail had the length to carry him to the finals. As he wears the mantle of a magic teacher, the Academy upholds its faith that this disciple who turned into a magic teacher would keep up with the growing expectations of the PPC attendees.

Registration to the session can be obtained at magicacademyindia@gmail.com or telephone: 0471 2358910.
