Cake that looked like a magician's hat

Thiruvananthapuram: This Christmas, children at the Magic Academy's carnival could not only enjoy its lingering taste but also its bewildering shape! A Christmas Cake in the perfect shape of a magician's hat was designed by Ambrosia the classic bakehouse in the city. At first sight, a few magicians were prompted to grab the 'magic hat'. Only the timely intervention by the staff of the Academy could make them realise that it was a Christmas Cake. Mr. Vinod Panicker proprietor of the Ambrosia who is also a hobbyist in magic has told Magic Weekly that the inside cake was white spunch sandwiched with vanilla butter cream and covered with Australian sugar paste. The aroma, colour, composition and taste of the wonderful cake have, however made all including the Academy's chieftain, Gopinath Muthukad addicts to its charm.
