Andhra magicians gearing up to make the temple town a temple of magic, too.
Tirupati: This temple town well-known for its spiritual halos, is all about to acquire a mystic sheen of magic. Come November, this town will become a haven for a number of magicians from across the country. Thanks to ‘Jantan Mantar ’08’, a two day conference of magicians to be organized by the Andhra Pradesh Magicians Association, R.K.’s Wonder World Magic Shop. The whole event will go on under the auspices of the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams.
The programme brochure speaks in volumes on the benefits offered the event to the participants. National exposure with senior magicians and an opportunity to see latest makes from the magic dealers are only a couple of the attractions. Lecture classes by veteran magicians, Dr. B.V. Pattabhi Ram, Tantu Bhai, Srinivas and S. Manohar Rao are the irrefutable part of the programmes. Registration fee being Rs.1000, children below 15 years can make it for Rs.900. Fee includes 2 days vegetarian food and 3 days accommodation.
