Magic Academy to publish National Directory of Magicians

Named as Magic India, the book will be a comprehensive reference book on Indian magicians

Thiruvananthapuram: The Magic Academy has decided to publish a National Magicians' Directory 2008, titled, 'Magic India', gathering information on the active magicians in the country. The directory is stipulated to be released in the month of January 2009. Names of magicians, their professional names, title and kind of shows and contact details are among many other information to be carried in the proposed book. Basic Entry is free of cost.

Optional provisions for Extra Entry and Full/Half Page advertisements on payment basis, are also available.

The book will be a comprehensive data bank on Indian magicians. The Academy is of the hope that akin to the 2004 edition, the proposed book would become a means for prompting clients to contact more of the local magicians. Copies of the directory will be distributed to potential organizers, government organisations and fine arts societies across the country. The directory will serve as an authentic reference book to have a permanent place in the bookshelves, the Academy hopes.

Information contained in the book will have its Internet appearances, too, in the stipulated online platforms of the Academy.

June issue of Vismayam Magical News will carry Entry Forms. Another set will be sent separately to all magicians. Entry forms can be obtained also from: magicdirectory2008@gmail.com.
