Month-long discount sale begins

Awesome sale: For the people of Kerala, the State festival of Onam is also an occasion for buying prudently things of need. At Magic Academy's shop, magician Nipin Niravath inaugurated (left) 'Onam Magic Discount Sales' today morning. Magicians who gathered for the 80th Perfect Performer Course at the Academy had a good time of purchasing quality magic wares with a wholesome discount of 10-20%. Discount was offered in cash and kind according to the preference of the buyers. The discount sales will continue till Onam Magic Fest on 11th of September.

Thiruvananthapuram: On this Independence Day, the emerging hero in Mentalism, Nipin Niravath is bringing a special gift for his counterparts. Mr. Niravath will be at the Magic Academy’s Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi centres respectively on 14th and 15th of August, giving tutorials on 10 awesome tricks in Mentalism.

An apostle of Mentalism for the past six years, he holds a lengthy 19 years of experience in the art of magic. Why does he fall in love with mentalism? “For Mentalism, you don’t need to go for huge setups. It is simple for the performer, but a complex feel of amazement for spectators”, he says.

After watching his performance on 17th of April, in front of an elite audience including the Minister, Kadannappally Ramachandran, Soorya Krishnamoorthy included Mr. Niravath’s show for the upcoming session of the famous Soorya Festival.

Mind-boggling Mentalism

Engrossing, enigmatic: Magician Nipin Niravath has homeworked a lot before attempting his feat.

Thiruvananthapuram: Packed audience at the Vailopilly Samskriti Bhawavn here on 17th of April, was led to Mentalism, a branch of magic that has more mind-reading aspects than usual sleights of hands. Thanks to Nipin Niravath the young mentalist.

For around 60 minutes, audience including the Minister of Devaswom, Kadannappally Ramachandran; Soorya Krishnamoorthy and Honorary Director of the Magic Academy, R. Raja Moorthy were kept under Mr. Niravath’s spell. With the power of his eyes he could even bend a couple of stubborn iron rods and burst an incandescent bulb. Another audience member was at happy times to have the magician influence his mind and unearth pleasant days of his childhood.

Mr. Niravath’s careful selection of the backdrop, speech and music only made the event impressive. “It’s beyond words. Totally different kind of magical presentation I have ever seen”, was how the show was described by the Minister.
