A year ahead for the celebration

As the curtain rises for the month of November it brings a positive spirit in us as it start with celebrations, it commences on the first day itself as Keralites celebrate “Kerala Piravi”. November is the month of crackers and sweets; it’s the month of festival and lights-the light that gained victory over the darkness. Children’s are more enthusiastic during this period, it’s this month we celebrate the birthday of our dear Chachaji. As far as magic academy is concerned a year ahead from this month will mark the celebration of mega event “Magic Planet -2014” starting on 31st October 2014, by remembering the great legend of magic

There will not be any magician in this world not to have inspired by the life tales of Harry Houdini. Houdini unexpectedly bid his last adieu to magicdom on 31st October 1926. For generations of wonder makers, Houdini’s memories continue to be an eternal source of inspiration, there won’t be anybody in the world who can desist from taking pride of the evolution and history of his homeland. Kerala as a State of India was formed on 1st November 1957. Since then this stretch of land has been an abode to achievements in various spheres of life, art, and culture. At Magic Academy, we stand saluting Houdini, the great predecessor in magic and Kerala the beloved homeland of values. Before these venerable icons, we humbly dedicate Magic Planet 2014, a three-day convention of international excellence in magic from 31st October till 2nd November 2014 at Thiruvananthapuram.

The three day convention starting from Oct 31st to Nov 2nd is able to gather renowned magicians across the world under one roof “Magic Planet-2014” where the magicians all across the world will be able to experience a true festival environment at its best by blending traditional as well as modern aspects of this ever growing art form.
