Shanu, the Bhagyavismayam Magic Star




Inspirations and aspirations made the young Shanu a star in the night of Bhagyavismayam. Prize winning selection made by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademy at the finale not set an end for the surprise to Muhammed Shanu; he won the ‘Best magician award’ too at the all Kerala competition for magicians.
Shanu, the 17 year old winner was awarded with a memento and certificate by the Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Akademy and Magic Academy together and daughter of Prof K Bhagyanath, cine artist Vidhubala honored him with a cash prize of Rs.25,000/-.
The promising candidature of Magician Muhammed Shanu was not surprising to Indian magicians. In his short tenure, Shanu stuffed his stages with concepts and time calculations. He has travelled from stage to stage for competitions than the commercial shows. Miles and minds became smallest in hurdles to captivate the records of competitions.
Muhammed Shanu, the thirsty young boy always stunned the crowd with his patriotic items; the flags and flowers turned out to living tri-colored doves in his hands. The sequence he presents in competition stages prepared him familiar to success and strikes. 
He has performed on more than 200 stages in different parts of the country in a matter of a few years. However, the humble Shanu did not anticipate a win in the all-Kerala competition, in which many eminent magicians across Kerala and India participated, as he stated to the media. According to Shanu, the plus two student all his achievements are by way of the encouragement of his parents Abdul Majeed and Reena; and elder brother Shinu.
