Rousing reception to Mission India team from home State

A great feel: Magician Muthukad receives a memento of honour from poet Sugathakumari during a felicitation at Thiruvanathapuram. Hon. Minister, V. Surendran Pillai inaugurated the function.

Thiruvanathapuram: 'Mission India', the magic show by Magician Gopinath Muthukad and 25 member comprising of six girls which travelled across India, has returned back in the home State of Kerala,Thiruvananthapuram on 2nd of December after a successful all- India tour. The voyage, which started from Kanyakumari on October 2, gave performances in different districts in Kerala and then travelled to other states from October 18. The magical voyage had begun from Kanyakumari on 2nd of October. For the dedicated team who had successfully linked together multitudes of Indian hearts together using the graceful strings of magic against terrorism and violence.The team was given a rousing reception at the Senate Hall, University College which organised by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board (KSYWB) and Union of Kerala University.

The function was inaugurated by the Shri. V. Surendran Pillai, Hon. Minister of Port and Youth Affairs. Poet Sugathakumari gave away a citation to Muthukad and team. The event was graced with the presence of Kerala State Youth Welfare Board Member Secretary, P. Radhakrishna Pillai; Kerala State Youth Welfare Board Member, K.S. Sunil Kumar and Koliyoor Suresh; Kerala University Union Chairman, R. Lenil; Chairman of University College Union, Mahesh.
