Happy moments: R. Vasani
Jamshedpur: Septuagenarian magician, Rasiklal Vasani’s ever-growing enthusiasm for magic is well known. Last month, to the thorough surprise of Mr. Vasani came a letter from the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi. Don’t raise your eyebrows: Mr. Modi was just writing to express his deep admiration for the elderly magician. Reason: on 1st of May, the formation day of Gujarat, the CM could read a lengthy article in the popular Hindi daily, ‘Uditvani’ about the 74-year-old magician’s feats.
Mr. Vasani has placed the letter among many such he had received from Blessed Mother Teresa, reverent Swami Avadheshanandji Maharaj and bold Kiran Bedi.
