The 'Venice of the East' to have a new magicians’ forum

Alappuzha: Magicians of Alappuzha having the sobriquet, Venice of the East, have got a new platform to meet, share, learn and display their talents. A new magic club christened, ‘South Indian Magician’s Association (SIMA) has come forth in the headquarters of this district that has a distinctive presence of placid lakes and lagoons fringed with tall-growing cocunut trees, but a vivid absence of mountains.

The organization is not going to be a usual paper forum for any opportunism. Thanks to the efforts taken by devoted magician, Thomas Kandanat. Even the date, time and venue of their monthly meetings have been already slated. Members of SIMA will be meeting at 2pm on every 1st Sunday at Narasimhapuram Lodge, Mr. Kandanat informs. An inaugural class by magician Praveen, now settled in Dubai, has marked the beginning of this new magicians’ organization.
