New Delhi: Before starting for Srinagar, the Vismay Swaraj Yatra entourage was granted with an opportunity to meet the Minister of Defence, A.K. Antony at his official residence at 9, Krishna Menon Margh. Even amid his busy schedules, the minister graciously spent a few minutes with the entourage and gave hands to each of them. He readily praised the determination of seven girls who are part of the voyage team.
“A journey to Srinagar requires strength of mind. I wish you have it. Kashmir is one of the most beautiful places in the country that unfortunately has been prone to unwanted fights. Go there and teach them the value of peace”, he asked magician Gopinath Muthukad and his team.
