Thiruvananthapuram: Happy news is here for magicians who look for professional assistance to design a 30-40 minute premium magic show. Magic Academy Research Centre (MARC), a centre of excellence in magic at Kazhakuttam has come forward with an innovative higher course. This course, held under the supervision of expert magicians will help the participant to improve his/her current stage show.
Only for active magicians
Performing magicians can alone attend this course. Fee for the 10-day-course is Rs.3000. On extra payment, food and accommodation can also be availed according to availability. Buying of necessary magic equipments is optional. The course includes teacher’s demonstrations and videos of performances. Facilities provided include a stage with light and sound support for rehearsals. A video CD of the teacher’s performance will be given at the end of the course.

This definitely will improve the quality of the performance. Most of the amatures/self learnes, are simply demonstrating the tricks.They are not aware of the importance of routined manipulations. This is because they are not analysing the performance skill of great magicians.
