Julius finds a Hogwart’s school in India
12-year-old Julius Dein came to Kerala from London with his parents, not to enjoy from the nature’s bounty. While visiting ‘God’s own country’, his tender mind was nurturing a big ambition to learn more magic from Asia’s first Magic Academy, lead by India’s very own Houdini, Gopinath Muthukad. It was on 20/12/06 that he came to watch a regular performance by Rajamoorthy at the Academy, not alone, but accompanied by his parents.
Before joining a magic course, definitely he had to overcome the preliminary test of talent. But that was a cakewalk for this young prodigy who already had earned primary training in magical art from U.K., his homeland. Then began days of rigorous practice under the keen guidance of close-up King, Rajamoorthy. Each day was a stepping-stone for this tender talent. His magic caliber expanded just as the pairs of rubber band did between his fingers. After each session of training, Julius darted to Academy’s office to amaze the office staff with his new tricks, plucked fresh from the classroom. By this time, the rickshaw driver who would drop Julius from famous Kovalam beach to the Academy would have had rounds of good sleep in the world of dreams!

I am delighted to learn of Julius' experiences at the Magic Academy, India's own Hogwarts.
Here in England Julius is a promising and enthusiastic member of the Young Magicians Club which is the Youth programme of The Magic Circle, London, UK
Once a month young people between the ages of 10 and 18 come along to learn magic from the top names in the business. Whether they are interested in close up or stage magic they enjoy the sessions as well as interacting with others of their own age, showing them tricks and asking for ideas.
Members are also able to talk together on our very active on line forum - in their own private members' area of our web site
